Charlie’s Analysis is a newsletter dedicated to fundamental investment research. The newsletter is aimed at discovering and analysing companies across the globe.
Each month I will research at least one high-quality company and publish my findings on Charlie’s Analysis. In addition, I will also on occasion cover opportunities that I believe are compelling and these will certainly not be confined to high-quality companies.
An exceptional business is rare. An exceptional business offered at an attractive price is even rarer. As a result, I aim to focus on what I can control; which is finding the former. I can’t promise my research will provide actionable opportunities because those are scarce and certainly don’t occur on a monthly basis.
I aim to provide research on 12-18 companies a year and build a watchlist full of ‘the worlds best’. Why? I’m willing to be patient and wait for those infrequent occasions when the markets get hysterical and offer great businesses at great prices. Sadly, this doesn’t happen very often and the window of opportunity is short. I want to be prepared today so I can be opportunistic tomorrow.

I’m Charlie. I’m 22 years old, I live in Cornwall and I have two passions: investing and surfing!
I recently graduated with a distinction from my master’s degree in investment and finance but prior to that I’d never studied either of the topics. I’m fascinated by investing but I still have a long way to go. I’m at the start of my investing journey and I want to share my ideas so that I can track my progress over time. Hopefully one day I’ll look back on my early posts and cringe!
